Beginning with a short wishlist (if any of these have had a physical media CD release, then can you state so in this thread please):
American Nightmare (the eighties slasher) The Club (aka Prom Night 5) Curtains The Dorm That Dripped Blood Funeral Home Ghostkeeper and Splatter University. Most of the above (with the exception of The Dorm That Dripped Blood and Funeral Home) were composed by Paul Zaza. His work on the Prom Night films has/have had physical media CD releases (the first three films after the original have had releases by Klaatu Records). Has the original My Bloody Valentine's music score had a CD release? Update: Funeral Home has had a music score/soundtrack CD album release but it's now out-of-print. Last edited by OceanBlue; 02-26-2025 at 12:30 AM. Reason: Added update regarding the Funeral Home music score/soundtrack CD album release. |

I would love a release of the music score from Poison Ivy (1992) by David Michael Frank. It's absolutely beautiful.
Also, One Dark Night (1982) has a great score as well. |

I'm hoping so, unless there are issues preventing one happening (it's not unusual for a re-print to happen for a film music score/soundtrack album). After watching this past weekend, Kino's Blu-ray release of Rent-a-Cop, I checked to see when the the music score/soundtrack CD album was released by Intrada (ages ago, so I hope that gets a re-print as well).

With the thirty-fifth anniversary coming up of when the feature-length pilot of Twin Peaks was first shown on television in the States (April 8th, 1990), I've been hoping we might get this year a CD boxset of all or most of the score music heard in the first two seasons of the series. I was reminded recently of there being just the one CD release of music from the original run of the series, when visiting magazine The Blue Rose's website.

If there are any still in print CD releases of the music score/soundtrack for the following films, can you post about them please:
Alice, Sweet Alice Dead of Winter It Follows He Knows You're Alone The Mutilator (aka Fall Break) Savage Streets (have done a web search and there doesn't appear to have been an official CD release). |

Watched last night for the first time, early-eighties slasher horror Happy Birthday to Me (Powerhouse Films' Blu-ray release). One of the parts I enjoyed very much was the film's music score and title track by Syreeta (the latter, played over the end credits). Unless there are music clearance issues preventing a physical media release, hopefully the music score/soundtrack get a vinyl, cassette and CD release with an essay booklet included in a deluxe slipcase.

One of the Vinegar Syndrome Partner label film titles I've enjoyed watching this year has been Happer's Comet. A theraputic film ideally watched late at night that felt like a David Lynch homage as well. It may not have seemed like there was much in terms of a music score/soundtrack, but there was, and I hope it gets a release on CD.
