Disney Proposed Disney Acquisition of The Jim Henson Company

FYI: The Following is an Email Yours Truly JUST Sent to Both Brian Henson AND Bob Iger at The Jim Henson Company AND The Walt Disney Company, respectively.

Dear Brian,

I have a proposal for The Jim Henson Company: to make a deal with Bob Iger, Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, for Disney to have full ownership of The Jim Henson Company for $25 million effective September 21, 2024, days shy of Jim's 88th Birthday.

As I'm sure you know, Brian, the proposed Disney acquisition of The Jim Henson Company is nothing new, as I'm sure you know, just before your father, Jim, died, he was in the process of selling his old Muppet characters to The Walt Disney Company (as would eventually happen on February 16, 2004, 20 years ago next month).

That being said, Brian, as part of the 20th Anniversary of Disney's Muppets Acquisition, on February 16, 2024, I recommend that you, Brian, and Bob Iger have a joint press conference announcing Disney's Jim Henson Company Acquisition for $25 million, with you, Brian, officially signing a $25 million check to Bob Iger making the Disney Acquisition of The Jim Henson Company legally official.

I should contend that in 1991, after Jim died, Disney first purchased The Jim Henson Company (then officially Jim Henson Productions) for $150 million--not just Muppet titles, but also "Fraggle Rock," "The Storyteller," "The Dark Crystal," and more, all of which will become a part of The Walt Disney Company family once again on February 16, 2024 and once again, along with The Muppets, A Big Happy Family, just as Jim wanted and not all this legal Mess the last 20 years have been for the Henson family with Disney owning The Muppets and NOT the entire Jim Henson Company; as part of Disney's FULL Jim Henson Company Acquisition, Disney shall NOT include Sesame Street Muppets and Sesame Workshop as part of the Acquisition.

One last thing before I conclude this email, Brian: a copy of this email IS being sent to Bob Iger so HE can see this too.

Sincerely,
Steve Arino

Be honest in response to this: what do you folks think are the likely chances that 2024 will see Disney re-purchasing The Jim Henson Company?
