Default Are all Sony Blu-ray players dual voltage? Really need your help guys.

I am searching for Region A player for some time and don't want to buy a modded one because of cost factor. For me importing directly from Amazon US is cost effective.

So I was reading that Sony blu ray players have internal power converter and it supports both 110-240v regardless of what region I am from. Is it true?

If its true then I can just buy a Region A player and plug it in my socket which has a multiplug that accepts all plug designs. Or do I need something else as well?

What are the chances of me frying the unit? Or is it safe to plug and play? I am region B and have voltage 220v 50 htz. Actually 230v but that's similar to 220 and all units designed for 220 works perfectly here.

So there is no confusion between 220 and 230 but tye only confusion is that how much is it guaranteed that a Sony blu ray player accepts all voltages. Please help.
