I’m an überfan of Fincher’s but no. Please don’t.

I was actually looking forward to him tackling one of my favorite Hitchcock films, Strangers on a Train. Pity nothing came of it.

A more faithful version of the book might be something. Good book.

Same, the original is fine and i don't see how anyone could improve on it. I'd rather Fincher spent time on something worthwhile like another season of Mindhunter

Fincher could be doing something original adapting a great novel/script, instead of spending years on a remake. Remember the Fincher that gave us Se7en, Fight Club and The Social Network?

Not to mention that Squid Game is getting its own proper continued narrative in season two soon.

I was wondering if this is supposed to be a movie adaptation or he's remaking it as a series for American audiences. An English language remake seems redundant. It's not like the original Squid Game wasn't some small niche series that only people in Korea saw, it was a massive hit and a cultural phenomenon. Plenty of people in America have seen it.

I'd be interested in Fincher creating a Squid Game movie, though I'd would rather continue to see him do his own thing like he's been doing.

This hasn’t been cancelled yet? Eh I don’t know, I’m not going to say it’s not possible Fincher can’t make a good movie based on it. The series is so good though.
