L.O.S.T. (2004 - 2010) 4K UHD HDR10+ in DTS:X - Blu-ray Forum

In 2024, we're approaching 20th Anniversary of "a show that defined a 2000 decade."

I wish ABC Studios starts re-scanning those all 6 seasons 35mm reels now, preferably in 8K DI for future proofing.

More than BREAKING BAD, MAD MEN or GOT, LOST deserves this treatment ahead of other 3 iconic TV series imo.

LOST was ahead of its time.
.....international casting.
.....on location filming.
.....35mm celluloid shooting.
.....creative freestyle writing

After watching OLD(2021) in 4K UHD (which plays like a one-off lost episode of LOST, no pun intended), I'm convince LOST will do great on 4K and 8K TVs

Shows like The Mandalorian and WandaVision would make more money for Disney if they release those on 4K UHD than a 4K UHD release of LOST. And yet they won't do it because they're so hyper-focused on streaming right now.

If we're lucky to get 4K Dolby Vision + Atmos remasters of LOST, they would most likely be exclusive to Disney+ and Hulu.

I stopped watching sometime in season 3, but From is my favorite TV show still going which is similar, so I would blindly buy this

LOST (not L.O.S.T.) was made for the 4K format. The show was immensely popular so it could happen. In fact, I'm willing to bet it's just a matter of time before the announcement drops and I'll be right there ready to place my preorder! I've been itching to revisit the series but am holding back.
