I have a firestick and I tried a free app called tubi. I'd never heard of it but I was surprised by the selection of stuff on. It actually had a lot of stuff I wanted to watch. The movies have commercials but they arent so bad and not too frequent or long. I was pleasantly surprised by it

Also noticed adult swim is on firestick now. I knew it was coming a while back but didnt realize it had been released.

Tubi is a well-known app with free content (you have to sit through ads, of course).

The other one that is very similar to Tubi, and has a large selection of content is Filmrise. Same set-up, you have to watch ads, but otherwise is basically like Tubi with a bit of the same but a bit of different selection.

Heard the name mentioned before but never really checked it out. Took a browse and I'm really impressed by what all is for offer on a free service. Bookmarked a bunch of stuff and the ones I previewed looked pretty good to me in 720p even with only around 2500 kbps bitrate.

Based on what I’ve researched, Tubi quality usually ranges between 480p and 720p. For free, that’s not bad.

Is it free? Do they have new eps? My provider dropped Adult Swin from my cable package so I have been looking for ways to stream Rick and Morty and other shows with new eps.

You got two options wait until Saturday season 5 is going to be on hbo max but with season 6 you’d have to use the adult swim app and wait for it to not have a key that way it’s not needing you to have the higher cable tier to see the episodes.

Wow, it looks like they get some really short term contracts. Some of those big movie dumps only seem to last for like 3-4 weeks. But they have a lot of weird stuff that I've never seen before anywhere else. Just watched a thriller called Sketch Artist earlier that I enjoyed and would probably watch again. Quality can really vary and it's interesting how Tubi can get some stuff in 720p that may only be in sd or not available at all elsewhere and then again some stuff may only be in 360p. But the 720p streams are generally pretty solid for the bitrate, imo.

Been catching a lot of stuff on Tubi lately. They've had a lot of MGM licensed titles that I've been revisiting like Real Men. It's a fun and pretty wacky comedy with Jim Belushi and John Ritter that I hadn't seen in about 30+ years.

Also caught "The Batwoman", a totally unauthorized 1968 Batman rip-off from Mexico in which our heroine runs around in a Batman cowl and a skimpy blue bikini, doing battle with a mad scientist and his Creature from the Black Lagoon rip-off. Fun movie if you're into that sort of thing.
