Another Jean-Pierre Melville film to be restored and released in 4K!

As of April 2024, the project is currently only in its earliest stages with the original negative scan having begun at Éclair.

This is the lone Melville film that I have yet to see. I can only hope its English friendly. Doubt it will be.

This and Le Deuxième Souffle are the biggest holdouts for Jean-Pierre Melville on HD physical media, so this news makes me happy.

I see it's no longer listed under PROCHAINES SORTIES on their webpage. Also, there is this facebook message from February 24:
