As a lifelong pinball aficionado (who sadly doesn't get to play real tables very often), I'm game for this flick. The shot is the stuff of legend, but we'll see if there's enough material to flesh it out and sustain a feature.

The last time I did get to play some physical tables was at the Chattanooga Pinball Museum (check 'em out if you can) and one of the newspaper article reproductions they had displayed was the story of that epic skill shot.

Hello. The film trailer is attractive. I really like the pinpall, which some of my relatives find quite retro. I'd like to know if this film is based on a true story or if it's just a script that's been put together. I often play money games similar to pinball at online casinos, which you can find at https://auspokiesguide.com/minimum-deposit/20-dollars/ with a minimum deposit of just $20. It's a real passion of mine! I hope many of you share my taste. If you know of any other films in the same genre, I'd love to hear your recommendations.

True story. Pinball was illegal in New York for many decades and this is about the man who got the law overturned.

This could be interesting. I had no idea that pinball was ever illegal anywhere, and to be honest it sounds like one of the most ridiculous laws the USA ever came up with.

I saw this on hoopla. It’s cool for a one time watch.

This was a very nice movie. They did a very great job a re-creating the 70's as best they could.

FYI. Crystal Reed is very pleasant on the eyes.

Watched this on Prime using some credits from playing ads on our Fire device; I'll pay to avoid ads on streaming services, but I'll accept bribes to allow ads to play (though I'll mute the volume and avert my gaze).

The movie was a lot more enjoyable than I thought it would be (even the obviously fake moustache has a certain charm to it) and hopefully it gets a disc release at some point.

Fortunately I've been able to play more physical tables lately since a pinball arcade opened up about 10 minutes down the road from me. Any pinball enthusiasts in northwest Georgia, or folks driving I75 between Atlanta and Chattanooga, should check out Gateway Pinball Arcade in Adairsville.

Actually, kind of ironic because pinball was banned because it was considered a form of gambling and lumped in with slot machines. It was a holdover from the days before they had flippers where it was a simple game of chance.

I initially had a negative reaction to the moustache, like whoa that's Gettysburg level of bad hair. It grew on me as the movie progressed though as the obvious artificiality seemed in keeping with the slightly skewed performance that Mike Faist delivered.
