Just wrote in the Criterion UK thread that I tried at least three times to import this f*cking thing, but kept getting scratched and skipping discs courtesy of the professionals in Guadalajara. Could not be more delighted to finally lay my hands on this.

Not gonna lie, I haven't watched my copy yet (I saw it on the big screen last year so that satisfied my re-watch itch), but now I feel like I should check my disc for scratches. Eeek!

Damn that’s unfortunate. I hoped for an Arrow / FiM announcement for Scorsese’s best. The Criterion is good but FiM would do better and Arrow might have given us better audio as well.

The Criterion UHD of Raging Bull is one of those discs where I’m like “sure, this looks fine and all, but I doubt a FiM-encoded 1080p disc using the same master would be a significant downgrade.”
