Exclamation Coming from a TCL 4-Series 65in. Is the LG B3 OLED 77in my best option? Under $2000.

So after 4 years of off and on moving around I have (I hope ) settled in with my current living arrangements and with that comes home theatre for me. I follow a lot of gamers specifically who like many of you love OLED TVs. The C2 is highly regarded as a great TV but for the size - price ratio its just to much to save in a timely manner for me. The B3 OLED from LG is actually 2 inches bigger than what I want (75in) at 77...but that is great and comes in at $2,000....so my question is it worth it? Especially coming from the crap TV I have that wasn't even $500? If you think another TV is better at the price range and size both, please share but only OLED please...but I think this might be my only, and best option.

It will probably drop down to that price again or lower before they are all gone. Should be clearing out last year models soon since CES is going on now so keep you eyes peeled.

The LG C3 OLED and LG B3 OLED are similar TVs with nearly identical feature sets, but the C3 is better overall. The C3 gets much brighter in HDR and SDR, has better image processing due to its better 4k processor, and has four full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth ports. Inversely, the B3 has two HDMI 2.1 bandwidth ports, one of which also doubles as the eARC port, so you'll need to buy an HDMI 2.1 switch if you have multiple HDMI 2.1 devices.
Does not sound worth saving a few bucks on.

We've extensively tested Sharp's US version of the F1 OLED TV and it's a very very good OLED TV. Sharp's priority SoC chip set hardware and their firmware help to make this low priced OLED TV perform as best as it can be.

Just out of the box, the images have very excellent detail and contrast control with very good color fidelity. A professional calibration is a very nice upgrade to tuneup the F1 to deliver the best possible picture quality.

77" Samsung S89C QD-OLED

$1800 as of this post. I bought one and it's totally worth it.

I know it's a bit late for this reply, but just wanted to say based on what i have seen. I would rather have a 2022 G2 OLED over a B3 model. It would have a much higher peak brightness and picture quality overall than the B3 would for the price.

I used to look at the C series as the value option with the same picture as the E series, but now they no longer do an E series and the picture quality is better on the G class, i don't see myself going back to a C series for an upgrade either but instead to a G. Particularly with how good the discounts have been on some models in recent years just before the new model releases.
