Default Worst Horror Movies of All Time

So um I have seen a huge number of horror movies but there are some horror flicks that are just awful beyond belief and this is a list of my worst horror films of all time.

1. Night of Horror terrible film where nothing scary happens the films title is a complete lie and the acting is abysmal and not scary not to mention so so much talking it’s so boring

2. Grizzly Rage worst creature horror flick I’ve ever seen it feels like a cheap direct to dvd horror flick of incredibly low quality and terrible acting included along with every character being stupid not one character is smart in this film as every single character dies

3. Jaws The Revenge very very bad sequel and also incredibly boring that somehow got Michael Caine to Star in it and it’s not the only time he’s involved in a bad horror film

4. Black Swarm awful awful Sci Fi Channel original movie with killer flesh eating wasps except this film isn't scary and quite boring its probably worse than The Swarm as it isn't hilariously bad but just plain bad

5. Devil fish boring so so so boring

6. Bog bad bad horror movie with notable 70’s actors involved and it’s super boring

7. Shakma very boring which is sad as this film looked promising too bad it sucked

8. Down remake of the Lift now the Lift isn’t a good film by any means that being said at least it was entertaining and hilarious to watch this one just isn’t even with popular actors involved it still sucks

9. Scared to Death I may not have liked this film but that might be because I decided to not pay attention at all watching it and it’s also the only title from this list I’m going to rewatch at some point.

10. The Beast Must Die boring incredibly cliche 70’s werewolf movie with notable talent as well how did Peter Cushing get involved in this film

Also dishonorable mention to Things it was bad very bad but I laughed a number of times so it was a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. Along with Frogs and Cruel Jaws or the Italian rip off of Jaws which are both so bad it’s good.

Anyways what are your worst horror films you’ve ever seen and which films do you think we’re worse than these ones?
Please let me know

any time someone makes one of these lists, you’re just telling everyone that you haven’t watched enough movies.

I like bad movies but hate this one. I've heard the new one is pretty atrocious as well.

Yeah but it just allows me to check out more films bad or good which is good for me. Especially in the horror genre where’ve I’ve seen a lot of good or great horror films but not a lot of bad ones.

I have a feeling this film is quite bad but nowhere near as bad as Night of Horror. I’ll still watch it but it won’t be as bad as Night of Horror because that film was basically unwatchable.

Any list that is posted in this kind of thread is purely subjective. One man's trash is another man's treasure as the expression goes. If I were you, I'd just enjoy your own personal exploration of these movies, rather then rely on the opinions of others to guide you in relation to what's good or bad.

That’s a good idea I have my own list of movies I’m planning on watching in my wishlist and all the films in my collection I still haven’t watched yet not counting rewatches.

The Swarm is a terrible movie ...but it's also really entertaining. It is so laughably bad - especially the giant bee - that I really get a kick out of. So bad it's good.
Don't bother with a re-watch on Scared To Death. Sadly, it's not worth it. Lugosi's only surviving color film is also one of his worst. Just dull.

Haha, I own both of those. I would love to see Scared To Death on blu. That movie is so chaotic and disjointed, half the time you don't know what the hell is going on.

The Swarm is also nuts with Michael Caine yelling at the top of his lungs instead of talking like a normal person. And that
[Show spoiler]train wreck in the middle of the picture that kills off 1/2 the all star cast
. Definitely a great horrible film!

Oh gosh yes Garbage Day which is one of the best horror movie memes ever. That film is so hilariously bad and the villain is so ridiculously over the top and also suffocates a dude in a movie theater with a pop corn container and the whole death by electric car scene. I need to own it physically just to watch it again as Eric Freeman the actor playing Ricky is so over the top you just root for him the entire time as every person that deals with him is not very smart. Thank you for reminding me of that film again

The Giant bee scene is so dang weird and ridiculous might need to pick it up again as yes it is terrible and the bees are the most ridiculous horror movie creatures ever but Michael Caine yells so much in it.

I don't know if this is good or bad of me, but from your list I've only seen Jaws: The Revenge. I don't feel any sudden rush to see any of the others any time soon.

My bottom 10 horror films looks like this:
  1. August Underground's Mordum
  2. Birdemic: Shock and Terror
  3. Acid Bath
  4. Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS
  5. August Underground's Penance
  6. Chaos (2005--not the Statham one, lol)
  7. August Underground
  8. Alien Abduction
  9. Machine Head (2000, might be DTV or something)
  10. Cult (2007, might be DTV, can't remember)

Birdemic is by far the most incompetent movie I've seen, but I still like watching it for that "so bad it's good" charm.

Chances are I might be too harsh on Ilsa and the August Underground ones, but personally, I found all of these (plus Chaos) movies too cruel and oppressive for me to appreciate on any level. Acid Bath was a cheap and annoying flick. Machine Head and Cult were just cheap and bland. Alien Abduction struck me as dumb, but I might be too hard on that one too, I dunno. Chances are that some horror fans will find something in these that I don't, but this is the bottom of my barrel.
