Looks like we will see a return of the XFL league in 2020 according to cbs sports. I know we are still 2 years from game time but figured I would start a fresh post to discuss the upcoming league.

It's smart the XFL is going to play in the winter after the Super Bowl rather than try to go head-to-head with the NFL and college in the fall.

get rid of the gimmicks and no stupid wrestlers as announcers and give me real football. The good thing is the XFL can be smart and just draft after the draft and pickup a ton of good or decent talent

Johnny Manziel may be going to the CFL. Playing for Hamilton.

The talent level will probably be more along the lines of the Mike Bercovici, Skyler Howard types who get looks after college but it never results in anything more.

I don't mind the idea of an XFL, but that name "XFL": I'm surprised they're staying with it, not so much that it's a reminder of a colossal failure, but that it's just so cheesy.

Now, an alternative name for the league? I'm not sure...

All these steps will ensure better success for the XFL than last time. Go Outlaws!
