I just wish they included all the Deleted Scenes for DPS on the disc from the extended edition.

in regards' to 'Dead Poets Society' it'd be nice if the movie was the extended cut - similiar to the laserdisc edition.

They can put whatever special features they want on either disk. I didn't care for the Good Morning Vietnam directors comments, but they were not horrifying.

Both are definite purchases for me, as I somehow never got these on DVD.

GMV got more negative reviews for the DVD than the theatrical release or VHS reviews did. It seems to go downhill, mainly because of the genre.

Think that's because a lot of anti-Robin backlash has since kicked in from when the film or VHS first came out--But then, early Disney wasn't exactly Criterion with their catalog DVD's either, and pretty much bare-boned everything from the Rocketeer's day straight off of the laserdisks.

It's still one of the better 80's-Touchstone, and easily one of Williams's two best movies.
(BTW, assume everyone knows the real Adrian Cronauer got to cameo his signature routines in the Van Damme "Street Fighter" movie?--"Goooood morning, Shadaloo!")

I remember reading at least one of the early reviews, in fact the only early review for the theatrical release that said this role was not fitting for Robin Williams.

If this is one of those discount titles I might check this out. I remember watching Dead Poet's Society in my highschool English class one year. Good film from what I remember.

The extended cut (or deleted scenes at least) for Dead Poet's Society would be ideal, but I'll grab whatever they release. It's one of my favorite movies of all time. I'm also thrilled that Good Morning Vietnam is coming, too!
