What is the most stupid thing you have ever done, or seen somebody do, while gaming?

I'll start: Playing tekken 2 when i was like, 7, and gettin the bejesus scared out of me when i saw my first boss (Armour King) and turning off the console at the wall.

And just the other day I was playing warhawk and was randomly shooting a guy with my pistol (no FF), the guy responded by shooting me and then threw a grenade at my face point blank, he was so close he blew himself up and i was unharmed. What are these people thinking!

This makes me hit myself in the head with my controller because it is dumb and I do it ALL THE TIME.

When I play CoD4 and I'm crouched in a corner because I know someone is about to walk by, they walk by, completely unaware that I'm there. I then start to fire, but because I have the reflexes of a dead cat I miss them. I then proceed to turn to follow them with my gun, aimed and firing, which is super slow AND super loud.

So basically, I loook like an idiot that is trying to kill their shadow and then i get knifed or something.

Effin lovely.

I used to play shadowrun on the 360, you would start out with 2 teams red and blue. After the 1st round if it was way too unbalanced they would make some change teams. One match I was in I keep changin colors, so I would stat shooting my own team.

my brother was on the 30 yard line on Madden. 4Q like 4 seconds on the clock the score was something like 17-20 and he decided to go for the endzone, versus just kicking the field goal.

Ummm, I was playing donkey kong country for snes this one time... and I totally did this rolling attack move to try to kill King K. Rool but then I died and I was like "wtf man! Why can't I hurt this guy?"

Then I realized I had to jump on his head when he was throwing his hat at me! Goddam I felt like a retard. Everyone was watching and stuff. I felt so stupid!

Hitting the brakes before dead man's curve on burnout paradise. Sliding right up to the edge of the jump, plus three feet more.

In full view of the other 5 guys trying to do the challenge.

Mine would be a COD4, sometimes when i throw a granade and i hit a wall and bounces back at me killing me because i was unable to run away on time...or the classic throw a grenade and an ally steps in the way hitting him in the back and then bounces back...

Well when I accidentally beat Super Mario Rpg, when just showing someone how to play the game. I felt dumb afterwards.

Also when I start talking to my cat while playing with open mic on Conflict. I sense some people think im a loony, which I probably am.

Or worse when im playing conflict and someone complains that there phone is messing up and I shout back I dont know whats wrong with the phone, and then imagine that the other person im playing with on conflict probably wants to kill me.

My favorite was this guy in warhawk was charging at me with a knife and I droped a mine at my feet and took a step back. He keeps running and blows up when he hit the mine. I dropped another on his carcus to ensure no zombie idiot would be formed.

Wooped up on final Boss on DMC4 for about 5 minutes with the sword. Was not doing any good. Finaly tried using my fist. I guess thats why they had the cut sceen before the fight with Nero looking at his hands and saying "Now I understand". If you have not played it, Nero’s right hand is demon possessed.

When I was younger, I got mad at a game.

I threw the controller hard into the ground, breaking it. And then kicked the ottoman into the couch. It hit the couch and ripped part of the front. And my foot really hurt.

I'm older and more mellow now.

The first time I played Super Mario Bros 2. I saw the shy guys and thought I would just jump on them and stomp them like the goombas in the first game. Well, I jumped on him and just rode on top of him until he walked off the screen. I think I played for about 15 minutes trying this over and over before somebody showed me what I was supposed to do! (I was probably about 7)

I had a couple of those moments in warhawk..... just the other day I was being bombarded with gunshots from all around. I turned and threw a grenade as I knew I was going to die. Well, my grenade hit the only player from my team in the area. Even worse, it hit his jeep and blew it up. And the final kicker is that he was carrying the flag.... I lost 25 points for that stupidity.

Probably the most stupid for me that I can remember for me was when I was playing Pokemon Diamond on my DS a few weeks ago, I went about a quarterway through the game in one day, but I forgot to save. And out of habit when I close my DS to go eat, I shut it off. Damn that was stupid.

In warhawk i was playing capture the flag and our teams flag was about to get take after being droped so i tried to flamethrow the guy that was going to take it an teamkilled the 5 guys standing around defending the flag instead.
