Another ‘Heroes reboot is in the works

Tim Kring‘s Heroes is eyeing a second encore with Heroes: Eclipsed, a new incarnation of the popular 2006 superhero drama series, sources tell Deadline. Appropriately, the project is being pitched to buyers now, the week of the solar eclipse. (The original series started off with a solar eclipse in the pilot, which became a recurring element throughout the series, also reflected in its logo.)

Written by Kring, Heroes: Eclipsed is set years after the events of the original series as new evos are being awakened and discovering powers that will change their lives. Featuring familiar villains and new enemies who once again will be attempting to suppress this next step in human evolution, it will be up to this new group of heroes to save the world.

Had one OK at best season that had everyone ready for a big showdown. They completely blew that and the rest of the show was abysmal. Tim Kring is the worst show runner in television. GO AWAY.

It would be better at this point to have someone else take over for Kring.

I agree. S1 was actually really good but then the show tanked.

I loved the first season, but the rest was all trash even if you tried making sense out of it.

It's impressive they've managed to make one good season and several bad seasons. lmao

And IIRC, the girl in Japan was actually a video game character...

Gifted was far better, which should tell you everything you need to know.
