Default HBO's Gentleman Jack

There doesn't seem to be any mention of this on the forums so far.

Anyone watching HBO's Gentleman Jack (BBC 1)? I was intrigued by the trailer and then I just happened upon the series last week. This is the one about a striking Victorian lesbian. It is really quite extraordinary to me, a straight male. Or maybe I am too easily impressed?

I'm watching it. It's good, lead actress reminds me of Francis McDormand.

Get to check out a lot of HBO now due to DirectTVNow upping their price but giving me HBO. I wanted to cancel after Game Of Thrones but everyone else has less for $50 or are equal to that price and DTN actually has everything I want: Espn, FS1, NBCsports, all broadcast and cable news channels and one local channel.

I can see streaming becoming more and more like cable in terms of price and increasing their fees.

Bringing this thread back to say I absolutely love Gentleman Jack and if they don't release this beautiful period drama on blu-ray we riot.

It’s a BBC and HBO co-production.
