I find it funny that this will be in 4k (no complaints).
If I recall correctly, I believe John Landis was hesitant about this being released on blu-ray, because it would look "too nice" for the rough-and-tumble appearance he prefers for this title.

I agree with Landis. Universal should skip the 4K and release a Kinescope version instead.

You need to speak to the Mouse. I made sure to grab the US Fox Blu despite having the Arrow edition, the Fox has a lovely transfer from OG negative.

Certainly wouldn't be opposed, but at least it's a pretty decent BD that has the look from a relatively newer master.
