Question What Movies/TV Shows do you want on Blu Ray that will probably never happen?

I would love to get rid of my DVD's and have all Blu/4K blu but I know that will never happen, so what are some movies/tv shows you want on blu that have about zero chance of happening?

For me it would be.

Newhart (Shoutfactory is only releasing DVD, even though season 2+ are on film )

Hobgoblins - Probably one of the best crappy movies ever! It's so bad it deserves to be cringed at in 4k

Freeway - The only movie I like Reese Witherspoon in other than pleasntville.

King Of Queens - I know there's a German version, but I want an official U.S. release! I have the complete series on DVD, but would jump on a Blu Ray release in a heartbeat.

3rd Rock From The Son - One of my favorite TV Shows

Scrubs - I think only one season is on Blu Ray, but I own the whole series on DVD already, but would buy again if the series was re-released on Blu Ray.

Tales From The Crypt - Looks like they're more concerned with having a hack director butcher the franchise in a reboot like Paul Feig & Ghostbusters than just releasing the original TV series on Blu Ray.

There's tons more but these are a couple I'd snatch up in a second if they ever got released on Blu Ray, Like all the classic 90's nickelodeon cartoons, Gunsmoke, I Love Lucy, Get Smart, Andy Griffith, etc. I know some of these have a season or two on Blu, but there seems to be no real effort to just do the whole series and put in a complete package, especially considering how huge these shows were.

Miami Vice & Knight Rider are giving me hope some day these classic TV shows will go from unlikely to possible but I just don't see it right now unfortunately.

With movies, who knows. There are tons of great films still out there. I could name Nights of Cabaria and Sahara (Bogart) as two of my favorites still missing. But I expect those will probably be out on blu-ray at some point... eventually. At least so long as Criterion exists in the market there is a chance.

With TV shows it seem a better question to ask what else WILL happen. TV show selection on blu-ray is pretty weak IMO, and I don't expect much activity there in the future, sadly. We'll just get sporadic catalog releases at best, but even new shows are hardly a given to hit the format.

Savage Harvest (1981) is such a great horror film, but it may never see the light of day on Blu-ray because a couple of Beatles songs are sung by the characters during a scene, and the ensuing rights issues are holding the release back. It's a really amazing movie about a family whose safari house is surrounded by a pride of lions on the prowl for human flesh. There are some big name actors in the fold, namely Tom Skerritt and Michelle Phillips.

I still have faith that The Earthling (1980) will be released on Blu-ray at some point. I'm hoping that my prayers will be answered.

Sahara is definitely one I want. I also want the remake with Jim Belushi.

Star Trek DS9 has been discussed in other wish list threads. It was shot on 480 video, so standard def may be the best it can ever be. TOS and TNG were shot on film, so they could be rescanned from the negatives for hi-def. (and the Vfx got redone for hi-def.)
