Filmy (PS3 utility)

I have a cybershot camera that records HD video using AVCHD so I thought, great; a neat little utility I can use with the vids I've taken on my camera.

But wait, I load up the fully featured demo to discover that the utility can ONLY read AVCHD video from an external source, like a camera or a memory card/stick.

It can't read AVCHD videos that are on the PS3's internal drive; how bl**dy stupid is that!

Uninstalled. What a waste of a potentially great utility.

If I had to guess, its to not allow people to "edit" videos downloaded off of the Playstation Video Store? I downloaded the Filmy demo just to see how it is, but don't really see myself using it since I have free programs that do the equivalent job on my trusty PC.
