Default PlayStation 5 Peripherals Thread - Pulse Headset, Media Remote, Charging Dock etc.

At launch, we will offer two options: a PlayStation®5 console with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive and a PlayStation®5 Digital Edition without a disc drive. The PS5 gameplay experience will be the same, so the choice is all yours.
Quote:
While there are some slight differences in the look of each model, for the overall design, we wanted to deliver a console that’s bold, stunning, and unlike any previous generation of PlayStation.

I'm so glad it's white, the design choice is excellent. The fact they are getting back in to the multimedia game with a dedicated media remote makes me so happy I want to cry. Will probably be my new UHD player. I need to know if it supports Dolby Vision.

100% will.

I've read that the PSVR HMD will be released about 24 months after launch, Sony trying to get almost wireless HMD out. But I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Definitely.

I decided on an all white entertainment centre, I have white floorstanders and centre speaker, white Xbox One S and white entertainment unit. This PS5 will fit in perfectly. I will probably keep it on display stood upright next to the TV with looks like that, god damn.

Just noticed the crazy cooling solution.

Very sleek.

Didn’t see any unique detail about it that would get someone in trouble if leaked except for maybe the RGB light strips.

Looking forward to seeing MS's Xbox Series S now.

The disc version is definately going to be closer to £500 if they are releasing a digital version. If it's anything like the XBOX SAD it will be about £100 cheaper.

I'm Guessing £399 for the Digital and £499 for the Disc version.

I think the stand will be interchangeable though. Works either to hold it vertically or as a horizontal base.

Well they didn't show the back unfortunately, but anyone know what those slits are toward the bottom on the front? Could be LEDs or maybe SD/MicroSD? Nice to see a USB-C port up front.

Looks like there will be at least two designs one for each console.

If the SSD size wasn't so puny I could see myself getting the digital one, but I don't feel like have to download 100s of GBs of games every time I want to re install it. So I'll have to stick with disc.

Looks like it, it is higher on one side which matches the profile. I hope it is included.

POWER and EJECT buttons.

Notice the Digital version only has the larger button and there is the eject symbol above the smaller button on the disc version.

Maybe they will announce a design-matching external drive.
