Random post of the day but....does anyone know if there are any plans to release Iron Eagle with Louis Gossett Jr on Blu-Ray?

Man, let's hope so! The first Iron Eagle was great, but the next three sequels sucked! Hopefully, Sony will bring it to Blu-ray before the year is over.

Doubtful. I suppose there's a chance Mill Creek could put it out, but they don't seem to have it (yet).

Iron Eagle, the first film, is the only one I want. The other three sequels really sucked. The second was okay but the third and fourth films really sucked. Louis Gossett Jr. gave some great performances in that first film.

The one quote that has always been stuck in my head is this one:

This is hilarious, but relevant. Between this movie and Back to the Future, every time I search for those old silver-wheeled Teac cassette tapes on ebay -- I only find used cassette's. And they go for between $50 to $100 bucks. LOL ! THE POWER OF MOVIES !

Over ten years into the Blu-ray format and we still don't have Iron Eagle on Blu-Ray. Is there a Kickstarter already or do we need to start one?

We started talking about movies at work the other day, and this gem of the 80's popped up. I can't believe it hasn't been released yet!

This aired in HD on DIRECTV (SONYHD 568) back on 4/18/2017. Still have it saved to my DVR. Looks pretty good. Well, everything expect the semi-transparent Sony Movie Channel logo in the bottom right corner of the frame. Would look fantastic on Blu-ray I'm sure. Gotta love that Chappy Dance! Again, I'm all in.

I just found out there is no Disc to Digital on Vudu either unfortunately.....

it is available in HDX but it is also $15......
