They seem to be dragging their feet on a physical release for Sing Sing

Already rubbed me up the wrong way with their Longlegs release. Shouldn't have to wait an extra month to buy the 4K unless you're prepared to cough up an extra tenner for the steelbook on release day. Release them at the same time. If people really want to buy a tin case they will.

What they did with the standard case release was really weird and not many people noticed.

I'd seen it on eBay and assumed it was the US release as they'd failed to put the English censor mark on the front cover. Very odd. I only noticed because there was so many for sale within days and it seemed odd that there'd be a flood of US resales (whch there was incidentally).

I've never seen them with Longlegs or Immaculate.

A quick look on eBay for Dumb Money shows nothing either.

All 3 have slipcovers in the US and the US cover for Immaculate is pretty cool:

I bought Immaculate from Germany for the mediabook and it's 4K.

For anyone interested, this was apparently censored for a 12A / 12 certificate in the UK:

Quote:
Cuts:
Company chose to reduce the number of uses of strong language in order to obtain a 12A classification. Cuts made in accordance with BBFC Guidelines and policy. An uncut 15 classification was available.

There is also an Australian Blu-ray coming in July from Via Vision:

but I don't know if it is uncensored or not, as the Australian Classification Board does not provide much detail for how it awarded an M rating:

Interesting developments on the veracity of the story of The Salt Path:

The Salt Path author defends herself against claims she misled readers

The real Salt Path: how a blockbuster book and film were spun from lies, deceit and desperation

Black Bear's release is still not dated, so I wonder if it will be cancelled.

I see parallels with:

I think it's just so damn easy to make up stories now as you can check things online and tidy things up but at the end of the day journalists or anyone with a bit of knowhow can easily pick apart (or reverse-engineer) and deconstuct the lies.

As for The Observer, that's probably an ex-friend or relative who's dobbed them in after seeing the hullabaloo over the book or film.

Another example is the self-styled fraudster 'Tommy Robinson' who has made a great white hope story for himself and lots of people think he's amazing where all the time he's just a common-all-garden mortgage fraudster. Even Farrage wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

And of course the relatives of Captain Tom™ who built a swimming pool with money that wasn't theirs to spend.

We're all living in a fantasy nowadays and fraud, grifting and theft seem to be part of the game.

The author of the novel The Salt Path has now responded to the claims made:

Yes, the BBC have an article too about her comments https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c89eq12qvl5o

Winn acknowledged making "mistakes"

Well, as the alleged fraud was against someone who is now dead we'll need to see if their past history and all this attention brings in more people who knew the couple or brings in more book sales.
