From the artist of Dragon Ball, Sandland looks like a Mad Max open world action RPG style game set in the desert. Not the most exciting landscape, but hopefully some stuff to break up the scenery like cliffs and stuff. Definitely has my interest, at about 60 to 70% at the moment.

The Goku or Gohan character as the main hero seems tough with the real time combat. The desert setting is fine, but I really hope there is more than just desert. Unless it's a Mad Max style game, but the terrain got boring in that game IMO.

The art style is cool in the DragonQuest, DragonBall artist's style. Just wondering how much the landscape varies things up. In Mad Max, there wasn't enough variety of the desert terrain to really keep me exploring for long, so hopefully this has some oasis locations and cities to explore too, beyond the desert, sand setting. Sand Land, the name probably makes it absolutely clear not to expect forests, mountains or oceans.

I'm super excited for Sand Land's movie, show, game, Dragon Ball Daima, and DBZ Tenkaichi 4. It's a good year for Toriyama fans.

Sandland Ps5 on April 26, 2024 looks interesting. That newest gameplay trailer helps. Sand is good, but also glad there are green areas too. Looks like a variety of vehicles, characters and abilities. I wonder if there is a day/night cycle.

Thanks. He was 68 years, old born in 1955. Dragonball, edited for US TV, was a great series I grew up watching back in the 1990s during later school.

Sand Land is his last official video game art work.

New free Demo to play on PS5 for Sand Land available now. I like this recent surge of game demos for larger games recently. For awhile there, it was a drought for demos.
