Default Movie Studio Logo Variations

Most movies begin and end with the logo for the movie studio. In most cases, the same logo is used for movie after movie over a period of several years until a new standard logo is created. But there are instances in which movie studios try to spice up their logo, either with visuals or audio, to make the movie more special. These are known as logo variations. Here's the logo variation for the 1996 Warner Brothers/Universal movie "Twister". Normally the Warner Brothers logo is shown in front of a mostly clear blue sky with white clouds. In this case, it emerges from thick, ominous gray clouds, and the logo itself and the wording surrounding it is gray as well:

Here's the Warner Brothers logo designed to look like a microorganism, from the 2001 movie "Osmosis Jones":

Sometimes movie studios do logo variations to celebrate anniversaries. Here's the 75th anniversary logo for Universal Pictures, featuring several old Universal logos leading up to the new one:

What logo variations do you like? Please let me know. Please add pictures or video clips if you can. And if you have your own ideas for logo variations, please share them too. Have a great weekend.

I like the static still image logo they made for "2001: A Space Odyssey".

Here's a shaking 20th Century Fox logo for the 1997 film "Volcano":

And here's a trailer for the 1996 film "The Cable Guy" where the Columbia Pictures logo vibrates when Jim Carrey knocks hard enough:

Those are all cool variations. Since you like Universal logo variations, here's one for the movie "BASEketball":

I would like to see a Columbia Pictures logo variant where the Torch Lady kicks a soccer ball hidden under her robe towards the audience. It would be a good way to start a soccer movie.

Thank you, that is neat. I need to see that movie someday. It would be funny to see that in a Columbia movie too.

This does remind me, I also liked the one from Waterworld. Pretty smooth segue into the movie's story:

Here's a logo variant for the 1989 Universal movie "The "Burbs", where after seeing the Earth rotate a little, you zoom in on the Earth until you're at ground level:

Disco was at it's peak in 1978. Columbia's torch lady is ready to boogie at the beginning of Thank God It's Friday (1978).

That she is. Look what the Torch Lady does in this logo variation for the 2012 movie "Hotel Transylvania":

In this opening to "The Peanuts Movie", Schroeder plays the 20th Century Fox theme music:

Here's the Paramount Pictures from the "Sonic the Hedgehog" movie, where the stars have been replaced with rings:

This Disney logo is from the 2021 movie "Cruella":

And this Disney logo is from the 2012 movie "Frankenweenie":

Those are some very wild opening segments. Thank you for sharing.

Here's a trailer for the 2005 film "Corpse Bride" with the Warner Brothers logo integrated into a late 1800s door knocker:
