Importing Panasonic DP-UB450EB-K - Blu-ray Forum

I really don't want to spend the money on a region free player. I have a region B LG but I really want to upgrade to a Panasonic 4k, partly for the upscaling. I noticed that it's a 12V power jack, so would getting a plug adapter work like it does for the LG?
