United Kingdom Sasquatch Sunset (David Zellner, Jesse Eisenberg, Riley Keough, August 2024)

OK, then.

Going to watch it because David Zellner has been in, directed and written some crazy mofo films.

Trailer reminded me of Aaaaaaaah!:

Got to love the name drop of Hereditary and Midsommar, I don’t think those two films could be more tonally different to this in any way.

Excellent, I want to see this film and glad to see Icon are ballsy enough to drop it on Blu-ray (still seeing Warner Bros UK haven't taken the plunge on Challengers, which would no doubt sell at least 5-10+ times better than a Zellner Bros movie).

Will watch any Zellner Bros film, especially after Kumiko. Reminds me, Damsel didn't get a Blu-ray here (I was hoping Second Sight might pick it up, but I suppose that was a long shot).

I had a look at this last week and found the experience painful. 20mins in I had to turn it off.

I will have another look of course I don't give up easy. I'll prepare myself better next time.

The things I do for filmdom
