I've got something due in Friday too. Sent first class, as MVD seems to do with all single item packages, so it's almost certainly Microwave Massacre -- unless we get really lucky and it turns out to be an extremely early copy of Bloodstained Butterfly.

With only 3 exceptions all releases have been blind buys for me. Well, double blind buys I guess since we didn't know the titles in advance. I never know if I'm lucky or not until I actually watch the movie

I contributed for the 10-disc perk, but had I known in advance what their pricing structure was going to be, I definitely would've jumped on at least the five-year level!

What percentage of titles have you guys been keeping? I decided early on to keep 'em all, but resell the individual releases of LE titles. Oh, feel free to post photos of your collections, just please use spoiler tags on those bad boys.

I have sold on about 40/50% of the titles overall, more this year than last year as they have released a lot of stuff this year that I have no interest in at all (eg AHP vol 1, the Kosugis, the Mastorakis', the upcoming HGL sets, Blood Bath, The Mutilator, and upcoming Microwave Massacre and Slugs).

What's up y'all, 10 year backer (and heavily indebted, d'oh!) here. Great thread idea! My MO thus far has been to only sell duplicates at first, i.e. standard editions when they also send us the limited editions. A couple exceptions: the two soft-core porn/bestiality(?)/avant guarde films by that Polish dude I had zero interest in and sold them sealed. Those were originally part of a larger set. I almost sold Island of Death because I found it absurd and pretty cheap/cheesy, however it's got some outstanding extras on there so I kept it. Great cover art too

Overall I've been pretty damn happy thus far; if the continue at anywhere near the current rate of releases this will be an amazing value! So psyched to eventually dip into many of these releases...my time constraints don't allow a whole lot of viewing opportunity, but I'm really enjoying watching the collection grow. Such nice packaging on some of these! And I'm totally new to the Yakuza (and B-movie Japanese '50-'70s crime stuff) films so that should be fun.

Question: how do you guys know when a package ships? The OP mentioned tracking his package but so far I get no kind of notification that I have a package coming, it just comes. Which is kind of fun, actually - I see that plain manilla bubble mailer (or box) shipped by MVD and I get all giddy!

Got mine on Tuesday. I'm not exactly a huge steelbook fanboy but this one is beautiful. not only great art front and back but a really nice, subtle, transparent title font.

I hadn't been aware of that site/program until someone hepped me to it a couple of months ago in the main Arrow thread, and it has really proved useful (in general, not just for MVD deliveries) although there is/was something to be said, as you noted, for the enjoyment of receiving a package unexpectedly.

I'm going to sell off the standard editions of the box sets as well as some of the ones I didn't care for. I need to create shelf space, so I'm going to rip a bunch of them to my HD then sell the physical copies.

I'm not sure what I'll do with the HGL sets. I might sell off the Shock and Gore set because it'll fetch a pretty penny, then either keep the smaller set permanently or rip those discs as well and sell it off.
