We'll also have Sony's New 65" BRAVIA 8 M2 aka, BRAVIA 8 II QD OLED TV on April 21st.

@ rdodolak, Yes, every year, every manufacturer that carries-over any TV series/models gets the new model years' panel from wherever they purchase them, and even when they supply their own digital video display panels.

Sony also retunes the new 3rd Generation of the XR Processor to take full advantage of the full dynamic tonal range to render the best images with the most depth, detail & color.

With all this said, if the budget permits, Sony's Flagship BRAVIA 9 QD MiniLED is among the very best, and very likely the very best QD MiniLED TV available.

Has anyone here bought the Bravia 5? the rtings website rated it lower overall than the X90L. Is it that bad in comparison? You'd think a 2025 Bravia would be better than one from 2023.

I have Sony's New 2025 98" BRAVIA 5. We are Loving all images from all content!

Some enhancements Sony added into the BRAVIA 5 MiniLED TVs are a big increase in the amount of MiniLED lights, that are now smaller and arranged much closer to each-other that enhances the color fidelity, and color volume, and the contrast ratio for more depth and detail in all images from all content.

Sony also upgraded the BackLight Master Drive, and their 3rd Generation of the XR Processor to take full advantage of the increased RGB MiniLED lights.

I'm sorry it's does not use QD for the color rendering, still the BRAVIA 5 results are excellent!

We are all LOVING Sony's New 2025 98" BRAVIA 5 4K HDR MiniLED TV!

With the greatly increased MiniLEDs and Sony's upgraded BackLight Master Drive and the New 2nd Generation of the XR Processor.

Sony engineers beautifully setup the XR Generation 2 processor to take full advantages of all of the enhancements in peak luminance, deeper blacks, and enhanced color volume to render the very best images from all content.

Here's a picture of me with the 98" BRAVIA 5 MiniLED TV, model # K98XR50. We have large windows directly in front of the TV and a huge sunroof above the TV.
