Default Smallville: Black Canary Clips

Didn't know if anyone saw these but didn't see any previous threads.

Some clips of this seasons Smallville with the "Black Canary". Pretty cool clip of her and Green Arrow as well as others. Starts tonight! Enjoy!

I think that was way back in Season 2...since then there have been some good shows. Season 6, IMO, was the best so far.

I think it would have been better if she had long blond hair.

I agree. But then again, Smallville hasn't followed the typical dc comic layout that we currently know. It will be interesting to see where they go from here with the characters.

Isn't this the last season, why introduce new characters on a final run?

They have never said it was the last season. I believe its the highest rated scripted series on the CW so they can't really afford to cancel it, they are probably thinking they should have kept Veronica Mars as many of their new shows have lower ratings and it had a fan following that would have bought the DVD as well, which the new shows do not have.

Yeah, Veronica Mars was an awesome show. The last season would have been better as well if the CW didn't meddle with it.

agreed, season 6 was my favorite. Esp. the episode with the justice league. I would love to see them again. With all the shows out today, this is the show my wife and I cannot miss. It is well written and they kinda introduce the DC characters we know and love in a new and excititng way.

From what I hear next season is supposed to be Micheal rosenbaums last season. I don't know if season 8 will be it, but the CW depends on this show for ratings and drawing in the younger demographic. Who knows what will happen.

I've read that this season is Rosenbaum's last. I hope that you are right Phelps. This show just won't be the same without Lex.

And if this is a show that you and your wife watch together and enjoy, might I recommend Supernatural as well? The wife and I got sucked into this one b/c it comes on right after Smallville. I have to say that it is now one of my favorite shows. Very cool.

I'm pretty sure I read something about next season focusing on Clark being a superhero...maybe more of the Justice League characters?..

That would be cool. I think I've also heard that they will never show Clark fly (other than that brief stint previously under red kryptonite influence) or show him in his Superman outfit.

I sure hope that this crap I'm reading is not accurate. That would be the perfect ending to the show....have Clark fly off in his outfit for the first time. *fingers crossed*

I have not been able to get into that one much. My wife loves gray's anatomy. (I hate this show, I would rather drive nails through my feet than watch this show) But, for love she watches it and I read and study for school.

BTW i kinda of hope that if Micheal does leave then they can find a new/different antagonist for Clark. My hope would be a Young brooding bruce Wayne. It would be a great contrast to the start of the series. Friends become enemies (lex/clark), and enemies become friends (bruce/clark). Who knows. It would be intersting if the smallville creative team can get the rights to the bruce wayne character.

My understanding is that the producers promised DC and tom welling a no cape/tights clause. That he would never appear in the outfit. I think this was to stop any confusion to the superman movies. I have not heard much about the flying. So who knows. From what I have read, the series was never intended to go past season 4, but due to popularity they kept getting renewed.

BTW Sam Jones should be reappearing for 1 episode in march. Can't wait for Pete to come back after 4 seasons.

Sam is coming back? Even for one episode that would be cool. I miss him. That will be something to look forward to.
