Nice! Love this label. High-quality transfers, diverse catalog but with a unified sensibility, reasonable prices, and fun bonus swag if you order from them direct.
Wake In Fright, Trailer War, Band Called Death, Act of Killing, and Miami Connection are all very different titles but excellent in their own ways. Looking forward to Ms. 45! Glad they got the rights. |

Trailer War is a total blast but the audio is not only harshly, horribly distorted, but it might even damage your speakers. I've played it (many times) through just my TV speakers, to be on the safe side. Some priceless trailers on there, including a few instant favorites of mine:
[Show spoiler] I also own A Band Called Death but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. The packaging is very cool, and includes a 7" single of the band. |

FYI:
Four Lions is distributed by Magnolia/Magnet, but Drafthouse Films does have a downloadable sleeve designed to match their other releases which are distributed by Image Entertainment. Quote:

Wonder what is going on with THE VISITOR. Drafthouse apparently sent Code Red a cease and desist letter to stop them from selling their DVD. The problem is, if they do go to court, Drafthouse will probably lose as Code Red's contract for the movie came first, is still running for three years, and they paid a lot more for the rights than Drafthouse did.
I am a bit disappointed that Drafthouse chose this route instead of working out a deal between them. The ultimate scumbag is of course the Italian producer who sold the rights twice. |

Great label, with great package and design.
I've seen about half of their films. My favorites are Four Lions and Bullhead. I asked them about the Four Lions packaging, and their reply was that they ARE working on updating it. So I'm waiting for that since I'm OCD about my blus. |

Great thread! I'm a big fan of Drafthouse Films and we were fortunate enough to get a location here in KC last year, so seeing some of these on the big screen has been great. I'm still bugging the manager to get The FP back for one night only.

I enjoyed Four Lions and Act of Killing looks promising.
