Quote:
In this horror cult classic from writer-director Lucky McKee, May (Angela Bettis) is a socially awkward veterinary assistant with a lazy eye and an obsession with perfection. Never really fitting in, she grew up wearing a pirate’s patch, and her sole companion continues to be a perfectly kept doll — until she meets handsome Adam (Jeremy Sisto) and his beautiful hands. As May’s relationships with Adam and an alluring colleague (Anna Faris) descend into depravity, she soon finds out that people are not 100% perfect — only certain parts of them are.

Will likely hold on to the great Second Sight Blu-ray. Happy to see another title in the Vestron line though!

I really enjoy collecting this line and I'm excited to blind buy this one, but I really wish it wasn't a site exclusive.

Lionsgate limited? I think it's time for me to scratch Lionsgate off the list of labels to buy from.

They probably think the elements aren't strong enough for a 4k.

30 something bucks for probably an average transfer. But it's "Lionsgate limited" so it is supposed to be viewed as Prestigious now I guess.

Of course it is. I'm starting to think that all non new releases will end up like this.

8 bucks shipping. They made these exclusive to their site in limited edition form to put the squeeze on people. So, yeah, I'll factor it in.

Cool. Just make sure to factor in shipping with every other retailers you but from.

I usually wait and make a larger order to get free shipping.

If you are going to make it a site exclusive, then you may as well make it a steelbook.

Yah I don't like that fact either....I do think I recall in an interview with Lionsgate Limited that their would be releases that were not steelbooks.

Why does Lionsgate hate this movie so much? This should been a 4k release and not yet another release with the same old as **** transfer. So disappointing.

8 bucks for shipping is steep. They're using boxes and stuffing the empty spaces with lots of paper for padding so I guess that includes a handling charge on top of the Media Mail postage.

The Vestron Video model has been so bizarre. First few years they were overpriced for the films then they took a break and came back with budget friendly releases for $13 usually on release day. Now right back to the original price point. Now throwing shade here because I like the line, but these titles usually always have dated DVD era transfers so most of the work goes into the special features. Unsure this price point makes sense when stacking up against most boutique labels releasing 4Ks in this ballpark price range.

Unless someone can point to it, it doesn't state anywhere that it's LL Exclusive. I checked the whole listing at launch, unless they added a blurb after. It could possibly, and most likely post to other sites later. Otherwise, why wouldn't it just have been a Steelbook Exclusive.
