Frederick Wiseman Boxset (BFI) - Blu-ray Forum

Confirmed in a press release that the BFI will be releasing a 3-film boxset containing TITICUT FOLLIES (1967), HIGH SCHOOL (1968), HOSPITAL (1970), JUVENILE COURT (1973) and WELFARE (1975) in January.

No word yet if they will release more boxsets.

Awesome news! Thanks for posting that.

I have several times been closed to pulling the trigger for one of the expensive DVDs (DVD-Rs?) of Titicut Follies, Wiseman sold on his own website. I am thrilled to finally be able to own it and the others, too.

I think you mean a 3 disc set considering there are more than 3 films in it.

My best guess is that Juvenile Court and Welfare will be on their own discs, as they are 144 and 167 minutes respectively. So that would be one disc for Titicut Follies, High School and Hospital, which are 84, 75 and 84. And there will be extras which haven't been announced yet.
