I quite enjoyed this, I watched it back in May when it launched on the Stan SVOD service here in Oz. I absolutely love the adaptation of 'Who Killed Cock Robin' that they used for the opening theme:

I pre-ordered this Blu-ray release about a month or so ago, when it first was put up on Amazon.UK.

Why is it that the Director's Cut for the original Wolf Creek hasn't been made more widely available on Blu-ray. The only release I know of is the expensive German limited edition. Am I missing it somewhere?

And I definitely want to check out this series. I loved the first two Wolf Creek movies? Is the TV series very "edited for TV" so to speak?

I doubt it, it's rated '18'.

I liked this series, feels like it's connected to the movies in a good way with backstory and such.

And yes I also hope the originals directors cut will be more avaliable and cheaper soon!

I can't quite remember the first feature, but the series is quite gory, it drives you mad on occasion as the lead goes all Kim "24" Bauer, but it decent enough.

I can't see it doing wonders for Australian tourism either ...

This series was something that didn't need making... and it shows.

I'm a fan of the films and I thought the series was very entertaining if by necessity slightly different in tone. It's more of a revenge story and less grim and gory than the films, but thanks to a likeable heroine, decent supporting characters and beautiful cinematography it worked rather well.

This series is ok but bar a very few scenes there's little gore or horror,
It's dragged for two too many episodes.
It needed to be a lot nastier.

I personally thought Eve was not very likable and not believable either. Too much filler for me. It's watchable but not something I'd recommend. Mick was sadly underused too, what a waste of such a good villian. The way they tagged on some backstory at the last minute was badly thought out.

I just checked my emails, and saw that I had received a shipping notification from Amazon for this about an hour ago. Their site said that there was a delay of 1-3 weeks yesterday.

This was great. I loved it. The cinematography was fantastic. Debating ordering it or not. Don't know if it'll come to the United States. Anyone know the region status on this? I don't see it on the site...

Just imported this from the UK. Didn't even know the series existed until I saw it on Amazon UK and was instantly interested to see how they would adapt / follow up the movie. So far I only had time to watch the first episode, but it was definitely promising. Glad to see the dark and brutal content wasn't really toned down for TV. And wow...the cinematography and colors really popped on my 4K OLED! Might be one of the most impressive newer Blu Ray releases I have seen.

For anyone reading this in the US, some channel called POP has been airing the episodes recently.

I bought it on eBay. Not region free, as it wouldn't play on my blu-ray player.

Had to remux it to enjoy the series.

Really unfortunate. I see a listing on US Amazon for a DVD set in March. Hopefully a bluray too.

If you have a Panasonic blu-ray player, the top menu trick works.
