![]() Did a search and couldn't find anything. I just read in the latest Aussie Empire Magazine, that the Snowtown murders have been made into a film. Now I don't know how many people know about the murders, but I saw the 'Crime Investigation Australia' episode about it a while back (it also aired again yesterday coincidently the same day I bought the Empire mag), and it was the most brutal serial killings in Australian history. I have watched many, many episodes of Crime Investigation Australia, as I find them interesting, but the Snowtown episode was probably the most terrifiing episode they have ever done. The re-enactments went almost too far imo (I think they toned them down after this episode). I am interested to see how this film works. Empire asks the question, 'is it too soon', and I too, am asking this question for Australians here on this forum. I know many people in New Zealand questioned the release of the film 'Out of the Blue' here, which dealt with our own notorious mass murder spree (Aramoana). Anyone who has not heard about Snowtown (the killings), see if you can watch the Crime Investigation episode online.
