Well next year is the film's 20th so it makes sense that there will be a remastered Blu-ray and/or UHD.

Here's hoping Universal show some restraint with their use of DNR. The current Blu-ray is one of the worst discs out there because of Universal's undying love for obtrusive DNR.

Yeah if this is real I'll happily sell my digibook. Awful transfer and even if it's just the UHD that gets a new scan I'll take it.

Thankfully we've only really had one film get Bourne Identity'd from them...which was Bourne Identity.

After the loveliness of La Momie I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to any deep catalogue stuff...though if they do repurpose the DNR'ed piece of shit Blu master for this then it will take Bourne's crown, oh yes.

I was hoping for this next year and hopefully a 40th Aniv of National Lampoon's Animal House. They both need remastered releases.

I know. The Big Lebowski is one of their biggest selling titles so there is no excuse for a remaster for its 20th.

I've been wanting a properly remastered Lebowski since the original Blu-ray dropped with an already dated master.

I think this is one of my wife's favorite films.

One of very few titles I still watch on HDDVD.
