To be honest, this is maaaaaayyyybe my second favorite Fulci behind The Beyond. Love this movie. Certainly never expected it to get the 4K upgrade! Severin is out of control

Hope the 4K has better encoding than Severin's blu-ray did. If done right a grainy film like this should look a lot more filmlike on UHD.


I wonder if maybe 88 will do a 4K with a soft touch slip.

I just unloaded my Severin Blu just a few days ago. Decided I didn't need two copies and 88's soft touch slip won out. Ordered the bundle but still gonna keep the 88 for the slip.

YES. Absolutely yes.

When I watched this movie it blew me away. The intro (specifically before things get heated) is great; sometimes I hop on YouTube and just watch that clip. Not long after, I was cracking up at the insane horniness of the first part of the movie. By the end I was geniunely surprised by

. The movie is certainly a crazy and fun time, but I was surprised upon finishing it that I thought it was legitimately good. Even though Fulci is known for his horror, I still think this is worth checking out.

I did the same thing a long time ago...sold the Severin and kept the 88 with the velvety Slipcover.

That is a beautiful Slip too, it will be hard to part with.

Definitely interested in this. I loved how sleazy it is and Bond girl Corinne Cléry is gorgeous. It will depend on how well the disc(s) are encoded as I skipped the Severin BD and went for the 88 Films BD. I wonder if they will be putting this out in the UK soon.

88 often seem to mirror Severin releases, and vice versa; so there's probably a good possibility that it will eventually. It also seems like 88 still hold the current rights in the UK, or at least their BD is still in print.

I have the Sev BD and the 88F BD but I guess I should pick this up.



I hope the BD is remastered. The Sev BD has the worst compression I have ever seen on a BD. It is worse than a bitstarved TV broadcast. On top of that it had SDH subs only.
