Sony will be re-releasing several 4K steelbooks on September 27, 2022 that were previously Best Buy exclusives. They are currently available for pre-order at Amazon. Full list below.

Me thinks Sony should of released the Ghostbusters films, Karate Kid and Tobey McGuire and the Andrew Garfield Spider-man movies in individual 4k SteelBooks better.

I can’t tell if it’s just the promotional image or if it’s a real product photo, but they all look glossy now while a lot of the originals were matte. I wonder if they changed them for this run.

This is the third time Venom is being reprint.. I got the 2nd release, and it was cheap, and matted, unlike the glossy original. I assume some/all of these will be cheap too compared to the originals.

edit: I'm mistaken, apparently the original was matte too.

I'm sure it's just a graphic that Amazon added over the product image. It won't be printed on the steelbooks.

Especially since the "sticker" would be spilling over the sides of the steelbooks according to the images.

I just recently ordered the Gattaca and LastbAction Hero stebooks off of Ebay too. Meh

Own all of these now. Why can't they reprint the Spider-man and Amazing Spider-man 4k steels?

Also make sure you check out pleaserewind's Ebay page before ordering these off Amazon. They are selling the Jumanji steelbooks and Zombieland steelbooks for $18.49. Plus $10 off if you spend $50 or more. So you would get 3 of them for under $50.

I got it when it originally came out & it was matte.

Supply and demand. When you buy something that is HTF or OOP there is always that chance it becomes available again. I wouldn't feel bad for them because they likely wanted it bad enough anyway to overpay. I have done it to and it's just about getting what you want at the time. I never look back it's worth it and yeah there is always that chance it becomes available again. Books, movies, music, etc prices go up and down it's just a part of collecting things to overpay on occasion. Again it's just about getting what you want at the time, no more, no less. I do love it when studios rerelease stuff and make it available again to let people purchase at a lower price.
