Here's hoping we get an HD remaster of the Trilogy in the meantime, as I wouldn't expect MP4 until Fall 2018 at the very earliest, and more likely in 2019.

Considering they showed nothing I can agree with your timetable. Did they even say if Retro was working on it? I didn't have sound while watching.

Guess ill be buying a Switch now. Just not until this is out, probably be a price cut by then.

Though it's a (much requested and welcomed) remaster of 1991's Metroid II: Return of Samus for GameBoy.

As for Metroid Prime 4, it is not being developed by Retro, but it still is being produced by Kensuke Tanabe.

Considering they've shown and released nothing since Tropical Freeze, I really hope whatever it is, is more ambitious than another DK.

Finally a game worth of considering buying a Switch for (for me personally) cause so far, I have zero interest in anything else that Nintendo has planned for it.

Still waiting on Bayonetta 3... Now that's a title worth buying any console for!

Their DK games are damn good imo. I'll take another in the same style or go back to the DK 64 roots.

They are, I agree. I would just hope that the last three years have been spent on something larger in scope than a side scrolling platformer is all. If it's in the vein of DK64 that could excuse the timetable.
