HDMI to Component Converter box/cable

I know this is an odd request, but does anyone have any decent recommendations for an HDMI cable to Component out box/cable.

I am looking at all of the top hits on Amazon and online and the common occurrence I see is they work pretty ok for a few months and then fail.


Long story short is, I have one of the Sony backlit projector HDTVs in a room that I use infrequently, I have considered replacing it, but I thought if I could resurrect it for like $40-50 I would give it a go for the rare occurrence that I use it.

Hoping someone has a brand or recommendation on one that is better quality or at least a reasonable low fail rate.
