Why is rocky 1 rocky vs drago rocky v and rocky balboa not available in hdr yet the rest are?

I'm not sure if it's the service, but I notice sometimes if I stream things through Vudu on my Xbox One S, it will not play back in HDR10, even though my TV supports it and the information shows the title has it. Apple seems like it generally works better. I've also noticed that Vudu never puts Dolby Atmos on any HD or SD titles, only UHD; whereas Apple will give you Dolby Atmos even if you're just streaming HD. I've also noticed some weirdness with Apple on my Rokus where it maxes out in HD, it will not play in 4K, but I can get 4K just fine on my Firestick or Xbox.

Amazon does not currently have the files for the 4K for those titles except for Rocky vs Drago. Once the studio sends them the 4K HDR file they will have it available.

I don’t get why the studio put part of the series on there in 4k hdr it makes no sense.

rights and licesning can be a fickle thing

Vudu has them all in 4K HDR currently. Still waiting for itunes to get the 4K for Rocky 5 and Balboa.

It’s frustrating that Rocky 1, Rocky IV, and Rocky Balboa aren’t in HDR yet. I’m guessing it’s a licensing thing or maybe they haven’t gotten around to remastering them properly. It’s weird because you’d think they’d want the whole series in HDR by now. I’m really hoping they update them soon—feels strange watching some in HDR and then going back to the older look for the others.
