Hey,
When I finally get my new TV, I'm wondering if it's worth getting it calibrated ![]() I was very impressed with how natural looking the picture was when mine was done (but this was some time ago). |

The luminance brightness between TVs like the G3 and QD-OLED has narrowed. The main difference now is not brightness in itself, but the colour volume. QD-OLED can do brighter colours much better.
I'd still prefer a G3 over a Samsung QD-OLED. The LG image processing is still superior. I'd pick a Sony QD-OLED over them all (and did), but that comes at a cost. |

Yes, it can definitely make a difference, especially if you're into really crisp and accurate colors. If you were impressed with the results before, it’s worth considering again. It might be a small extra cost, but it could be worth it for the best picture quality.

The LG G3 and G4 have MLA technology (or LG's version of it) which promises a brighter picture.
I'll have a look at the Sony QD-OLED ![]() |
