Hopefully the art is as good as the slip that came with the previous release. This is one of my favorite films from the 60s and am kind of glad that I waited. Especially since I just upgraded to 4K with a new Panny!

Nah…HD Movie Source always post crazy prices. These releases will probably be in the $20-30 range.

if so, it'd technically be an inferior disk because the regular 4K has it

I was lucky enough to grab the slipcover version, although a little beat up, which was hard to find even on release. If they use the same artwork, and it has DV, I might need to upgrade

While this looks better than Bridge on the River Kwai artwork, I'm not a fan of the pop art. The slipcover art with the OG poster is much better.

Steelbook cover is... okay, I guess. Getting it regardless for DV upgrade.

I wasn't a big fan of the Lawrence of Arabia or River Kwai ones, and this one isn't great either, but I do like the colors more in this one. But yeah, the DV upgrade would be the main reason to get this

I already listed my slipcover edition for sale hoping the steelbook would get some good OG art like some previous Sony steelbooks, but yeah took that listing down after I saw this. I'ma get this steelbook for the DV disc and stick it in my slipcover edition and then sell off the steelbook with the old disc
