I know I’ll get a lot of flack for different reasons but I honestly don’t know how to address this problem. Lately, whenever the hubs has taken up showing affection, he comes off sounding childish or extremely timid. I may not be perfect and need to show up and do my part but whenever he does that this
mental block comes up, and it feels like I married a little boy. ![]() How do I tell him this? I imagine if I did, he would act even more insecure. I get the impression this is happening because he feels I’m not showing up, but I feel so grossed out whenever he acts like this. I’m at a loss about how to naturally bring more dominant traits out in a way that wouldn’t come off as him feigning it. Am I being unrealistic? I know to truly love is to see the whole person. So I’m trying to deduce how much of it is something I need to work on and how much is his responsibility. |
