Great news, I'm not always a fan of big tat special edition sets but Umbrella do them well so will be all over this as they'll no doubt throw everything but the kitchen sink into this one.

If the UK doesn't get this, I will definitely import this. Long overdue release. So happy this is getting a 4K release. Will definitely buy the limited edition set.

I'm pretty sure the movie is releasing in the US as well, Umbrella just simply announced it first. I'm interested but I'm hoping for a lot of alternatives. There's only so much my wallet can take, imports are heavy.

Agreed it just hasn't been officially announced, i'd expect we will hear in the next few days maybe a week or two at most.

This is not a confirmation of any kind, but I have a hunch it'll be Lionsgate, and it'll be in a Lionsgate Limited steelbook. My hunch is because they've been working with the director before and they've done steelbooks before and now their business is all about Lionsgate Limited. It just a easy hunch.

The real question is whether the Lionsgate release would have as many extras as the Umbrella edition.

I'm guessing probably not, but we'll see.
