I've found Netflix to be the best looking streaming service. Are there others that have particularly good audio/video?
Netflix let's you switch to 2-channel audio for a lot of movies which is a huge improvement on my stereo. Do any other streaming services let you do that? |

I watched a movie on Netflix last night that made me think you're right. Maybe Netflix has a problem with consistency.
I usually rent/"buy" from Amazon but I'm not happy with the quality. Can you rent/"buy" from Apple? |

Awesome. I'll try Apple and MUBI. Let me know if any others.

I rented a movie through the Apple TV+ app on my Roku Ultra last night and for streaming I think it was the best picture quality I've seen and maybe the same for audio.

Netflix does offer excellent audio/video quality, and it's great that they provide options like 2-channel audio. Other streaming services like Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ also prioritize high-quality audio/video, but their options for adjusting audio settings may vary. It's worth exploring their settings to see if they offer similar features.

I used to have Netflix, but I wasn’t happy with the cost compared to how much I actually used it. While the video quality was nice, I didn’t feel like the selection justified the subscription price, so I decided to stop paying for streaming services altogether. That’s when I switched to 123moviesfree.
It’s completely free, and I can watch pretty much any movie or show without needing an account or subscription. The quality is great, and I love how simple it is to use. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option with a wide variety of content, it’s worth checking out. Last edited by Aliados; 12-09-2024 at 10:54 AM. |

Apple TV+ has the best video quality of all the streaming subscription services out there. Disney+ and Netflix both look decent, and the rest basically look a bit better than DVD quality and that's it.
And for the digital media stores where you buy/rent movies digitally, Apple TV (formerly iTunes) has the best video/audio quality period, so much so that they honestly look better than most of the standard Blu-rays out there due to surprisingly high bitrate at times and just only a bit worse looking than any of the 4K discs out there. |
