The only speculation I have is that I hope MGM titles are continued focus for KL to license. Hell, it would be awesome if they could license Miramax, too.... because I'm thinking of Gangs of New York for 4K UHD.

I'll be curious what their "mystery" titles will be. Some MGM, that they've released prior, upgrades I'd love to see would include "Coming Home", "The Long Goodbye" (they have considered doing a remaster), "Marty" (finally give a widescreen master), "The Party", and "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot". I'm especially curious what they'll have for Uni titles on UHD.

I’d love to see KL release some older titles on UHD. Like ‘40s - ‘70s stuff. I think they have some decently high profile classics that could drum up some solid collector interest.

Didn't KL cancel all of their upcoming UHDs? I thought they had planned Valkyrie and the Dollars Trilogy and then canceled them.

They’re from new studio deals. Nothing with Paramount. Not upgrades of existing KL releases. Not StudioCanal. Not the unconfirmed MGM title to be announced on/after 5/16.

One has to be the Universal deal (something like 200 titles). Not sure if they’ve indicated who the other is.

Apollo 13 for the 25th anniversary? As I'm struggling to see what other (not outstanding) Uni titles would be double dipped on. Wouldn't be Oblivion or King Kong. Wouldn't be E.T. Couldn't be Jurassic Park original surely, as that's their cash cow.

It's not a title that's already been released on UHD. It's a title that's been released by Universal on Blu.

what's wrong with the current UHD of 'King Kong' ??

Oblivion could be rectified by encoding the Dolby Vision transfer onto disc.
