What happend to Prison Break Season 2 and 24 Season 1? - Blu-ray Forum

I know along time ago they announced 24 season 1 and Prison Break Season 1/2 and PB season 1 released but no 2? BB has PB seasons 1 and 3 for 26 and i wanna bite on them but not if S2 was canned

and any word on 24 season 1 releasing? along with 2-6? cause they announced 24 season 1 like a year ago and i wanna go ahead and bite on the S1-6 deal at BB if they aren't planning on releasing 24 on bluray (other then new seasons)

I have wondered the same thing. I think 24 season 1 on blu has been talked about for a lot longer than 12 months.

I hope 24 season 7 sales were good enough to justify the rest of the series coming to blu.

24 season 1 has been rumored since I bought my PS3 in '07 lol. It would be nice to get it but I'd imagine we'll get a whole boxset since the upcoming season is the last. I think I read somewhere on here that PB season 2 was announced for a Blu release but in a different country. That may be good news to some. We'll see.

Nothing more ridiculous than releasing just a few random seasons of a show on BD and the rest on the ugly step brother of DVD. Don't companies know how aggravating this is to some of us?!?!

I haven't seen many shows with random seasons, stuff like smallville who got a few seasons in are confirmed for early seasons along with shows like dexter which followed through fast, sopranos supernatural etc.

whats more ridiculous is releasing a show like 24 season 7 then tell us nothing about 1-6 for years and release S1,3,4 and final break on BR but not season 2

guess im going to just hop on the seasons 1-6 dvd versions of 24 and sell them if they come out with 1-6 on BR

Nope. Just 1 and 3... and "The Final Break", which makes even less sense considering it was basically the series ending episodes (which were not aired in the US) setup as a movie.

I hope they plan to release them soon, otherwise I'll have to fork over the cash to import them and I'd rather not do that.

I'd buy 24 Season One in a millisecond. I've been waiting forever to dump the DVDs with horrible PQ and 2.0 audio.

I hope season 1 gets a good transfer. It was filmed in 2001 so...we can only hope.

I have season 2 of prison break from amazon.fr, it is region free ive checked on both my region a and region b ps3s and it does also say regions a,b and c on the discs, not sure about season 4 ill be ordering that in the next week or so

I bought Prison Break season 4 from http://www.bol.com/nl/index.html (Dutch online webshop) and can confirm its region free.

It's stated on the disc cover itself.
And tested it by changing regions on my Panasonic BD80 and confirming that it's region free.

Well said...a lot of the series is pretty hurting in the PQ and AQ department...although they still kick major A$$$

I have not interest in Prison Break but I have been wanting to see 24, I haven't seen any of the episodes but I hear it is a good show. I have a feeling that they will not be releasing seasons 1-6 on blu and we may but stuck with 7 only. I guess we will have to wait and see.

It is possible that they may be releasing the 24 seasons after the movie that begins filming in April of 2012.

well imo they will definitely release all the seasons of 24 eventually on bd.
I mean, c'mon bd is becoming very mainstream at this point, and I really think all this stuff will come flooding out in the next few years.
