I think it would have lasted longer in everyone's collective memory if The Sixth Sense hadn't been out a month earlier and had pretty much overshadowed it.

It's a great film, it just suffered from being the loser of the "two of the same kind of film at the box office at the same time" duel.

One of the better Richard Matheson adaptations out there. And that's saying something considering the massive amount of his material that has been adapted for film or TV.

Interesting. I remember a friend of mine read the book and loved it but then he saw the film and hated it, saying it deviated a lot from the novel. He said the novel was closer to Shyamalan's Unbreakable(?).

By "better Richard Matheson adaptations" I am speaking to the quality of the film rather than its' fidelity to the source material. It's the same metric I would apply to Kubrick's The Shining or Hanson's LA Confidential (or Jackson's LOTR trilogy) even though I know they depart from the source material in sometimes very significant ways.

You need to see it without the flipping tags all over the pic that masks it.
It's diabolical. Looks like it was made as a school project on MS Paint back in the 90's with a little bit of AI for seasoning lol

The person you're replying to was just joking around. As for the watermarks, I personally think the artwork is still quite easy to see, and not really overly obscured at all. I chose a very low opacity to make sure that that was the case. I'm sorry you don't agree though. I really don't like to watermark stuff at all. As I said, it should be officially up at Amazon soon enough.

I can PM you, and others unwatermarked versions too, if anyone wants.

edit: I lowered the opacity a little more.
