When I researched into this label they came across as bootlegs rather than legitimate releases

I was going to post this. Their TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD disc was excellent. I have high hopes for this release too, especially considering the only DVD edition of this film I have in my possession (which is the Blue Underground set) is not a great presentation - in fact, RETURN OF THE EVIL DEAD has the roughest-looking presentation out of the four films in that BU Blind Dead collection.

I have their release of the first film and the transfer is awesome.

I have a copy of the second one winging it’s way to me, but I am aware that the original elements of it are apparently missing and that this will probably be a restored upscale.

Got my copy earlier.

The picture quality can most succinctly be summed up as bollocks.

The extras might have redeemed it a little if English subtitles were an option, but there aren’t any.

Avoid like a persistent cougher on a crowded tube.

Perhaps sadly, I too received my copy earlier today. I am hoping to pop it into the player and watch it tonight, if I'm not too tired in an hour or two.

The Lone Fleming interview is good and has English subs. It is disappointing compared to the disc of the first film which looked really nice but maybe that's all they had to work with.

FWIW, the short film ('El último guión') also has English subs which can be accessed 'on the fly'.

Still looks a great deal better than any other release we've had so far. Given they have said they were limited by the available elements (which is most likely why Synapse have only released the first movie), I'm very happy with mine. It's a huge upgrade on any dvd version

Buyer beware if dealing with Gabita Barbieri Films, who also go under the name of outletdecine on Ebay. I bought 'Return of the Evil Dead' on Amazon.es [Gabita Barbieri Films] and 'Ghost Galleon' on Ebay [outletdecine], only the Ebay purchase 'Ghost Galleon' arrived. I noticed the Amazon.es order was also tracked as delivered, both had the same tracking number so therefore are the same company. I contacted them and was promised the missing blu-ray would be sent. Nothing arrived. Contacted them again and they said it was delivered i provided screenshots and they told me to contact them on a email address Amazon.es censored. So i've now asked for my money back i doubt i'll get it. Not cheap either 'Ghost Galleon' 47.98 euros after all the VAT and Customs charges but at least that one arrived, the missing one 'Return of the Evil Dead' came to 34.99. Not impressed! Avoid buying from them.

Yes they're extremely dodgy. I ordered from their amazon store and got a dodgy disc. They tried telling me it wasnt them and it was a bootleg, so I would need to order again if I wanted a replacement. Avoid ordering from them on amazon or direct. They don't deserve our money. Horrible company.

Very minor issue, but does everyone's copy of this spanish disc have a brief moment where the audio drops out just after 32mins 54secs? Only happens on the English audio track, and only for a second

Okay, I may very well be missing something here, but why when I do a search for ALL versions or releases of a movie many times versions are missing and not listed here?

I did a search and I found at DVDCompare that there are 3 releases of this film, but the site here only has the one from Spain. Why am I finding that many times releases are not shown here?

DVDCompare shows that there is a German and an Austrian release:
