Can someone please tell me when Dark Matter, Season 2 (blu-ray, of course) will be released?! Can't find any info on it.

You're probably looking at June 2017-ish....Last June is when the first season came out, just in time for the season 2 premiere. Do understand, Funimation is likely to release it once again... a primarily anime focused company live action is no rush for them.

I will say that once season 1 set came out I got it at Walmart for 27 or 29 dollars, which is nothing compared to what some tv shows cost or what other Funimation stuff costs

I swear, it's like some of these companies want people to pirate stuff, and yes I know you can purchase these on Amazon Video, but I want my Physical release ....DAMMIT!

I got a region A player for this very reason. I can't be bothered with getting a region free one. Not a fan of modified hardware. Was not to much to import a Samsung Blu-ray region A player for those region A titles I want like dark matter season 1 and soon to arrive Season 2.

The issue with this show (among a few others) is that Universal (SyFy's parent company) does NOT make this show. So the rights to the physical media are made through various companies. In the case of the US, Funimation has the rights and most of their stuff is region locked.
Whoever has the rights in the UK only puts the show on DVD.

I know this doesn't help the lack of physical release in your area but that's part of why it is the way it is

To anyone who is looking to buy the season 2 Blu-ray, check Barnes and Noble. They have a 40% off sale (ending TOMORROW) and being a B&N member, I was able to get it for 28 dollars.

I'd ordered from B&N too. As a non-member it was $25.49 + tax, with free shipping, after the 40% applied automatically and I used a 15% off coupon from this list: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...postcount=3094

My copy came in the mail today, sadly the slipcover isn't in the greatest condition. But unlike season 1 set, season 2 does contain some special features (a gag reel and some BTS stuff).
